Years ago we bought a little used Firefly. My husband figured it would maybe last a year or two, and because it was so good on gas it would just be for around the city. We ended up taking it on really really long vacations on only one tank of gas, no repair bills, nothing! It was like a magic little car that kept on going and going! One day we went out to start it and it just..died. We thought it was dead and my brother towed it away for parts. Before turning it over to the junker, he fiddled around with it and wouldn't you know it, it started! We let him keep it and it's still going! We originally bought it for $500. No dents, nothing. Great little car. So, that's our used car story. We still buy used. I admit one day I'd love a new car.
